The Prince George's Memory Project: Capturing Our Legacy with Home Movies and Photographs (The Memory Project), is an interactive, community-based, enterprise that connects our present and our past by inviting current and former county residents and organizations to share their visual histories with the residents of Prince George's County Maryland and beyond.
Co-directors, O.F. Makarah and Matthew White, will be at the Hyattsville Library on Tuesday evening, March15, from 6 pm to 9 pm. They will be available to meet with area residents to discuss The Memory Project, to hear their stories about the community, and to copy the photographs, home movies, and other visual materials they bring to share with The Memory Project. Please note there is no charge to participate in The Memory Project, and they do not retain the original materials, only copies.
