Residents from Southern Maryland are eligible for free weekend admission to the Maryland Historical Society in April and are eligible to attend a free genealogy workshop on Saturday, April 15, that will focus on that region. Library staff will provide an approximately 45 minute presentation on the resources of the Maryland Historical Society library and how participants can use them. After the presentation, participants will be able to dive into the library and do genealogy research on their families or other related topics. To attend, just show identification at the front desk to prove you live in one of the following counties.
